Atlas Die, an Impact Company, has been acquired by the DFC Manufacturing Group, LLC

St. Louis, MO (May 17, 2024) – Atlas Steel Rule Die, an Impact Company, (“Atlas Die”) today announced that it has been acquired by the DFC Manufacturing Group, LLC. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

DFC Manufacturing Group is the leading die maker with locations across the United States.

Atlas Die has been a foundational and pioneering leader in the die-making industry, serving customers from three locations. Atlas Die provides superior flat and rotary dies to the folding carton industry, and achieved exceptional performance through its technology, expert workforce, and quality craftsmanship. Atlas Die’s operations will continue at their facilities in Elmhurst, IL, Greensboro, NC and Stone Mountain, GA.

To reflect the mission of integrating our companies and serving our customers in the most efficient manner possible, Atlas Die’s name has been changed to CTI Cutting Dies.

Tom Driscoll, General Manager of Converting Technology, a division of DFC Manufacturing Group, will assume responsibility for the operations of CTI Cutting Dies, formerly Atlas Die. DFC’s goal is to continue to provide customers with the highest quality products from both CTI Cutting Dies (formerly Atlas Die) and Converting Technology. Tom’s management and oversight over the locations of these two leaders in the die making industry will enable DFC to best meet its customers’ needs.
